About
Benjamin Lefebvre teaches part-time at Wilfrid Laurier University (Brantford campus) (Canada) and directs the L.M. Montgomery Research Group at http://lmmresearch.org/. Since receiving his Ph.D. from McMaster University in 2006, he has held a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alberta and a Leverhulme Visiting Fellowship at the University of Worcester, and has taught at the University of Winnipeg and at Laurier Brantford. He has edited L.M. Montgomery's rediscovered final book, /The Blythes Are Quoted/ (2009), co-edited a restored and annotated edition of her First World War novel /Rilla of Ingleside/ (2010), and co-edited /Anne's World: A New Century of Anne of Green Gables/. Current projects include a monograph on child protagonists in Canadian fiction, 1947–2007, and a collection of essays entitled /Textual Transformations in Children's Literature/.
